When I finished secondary school in 2020, I made a decision to join the Military Get so I can work permanent to help support my family financially. Along the road, my parents constantly advised me of the relevance of a college degree. Honestly, I battled with the choice between picking work over school.
That changed when I uncovered the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I can make my level 100 % online from an approved, country wide acknowledged Carnegie R 1 university. The versatility of the program made it feasible to balance work, life, and education and learning. When I enrolled, I recognized I made the ideal choice.
As an online pupil, I stayed involved with school life with profession fairs and signing up with student organizations like the Society of Personnel Management. I intended to get one of the most out of my college experience and get in touch with individuals who shared my interest for human resources.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of fall semester. Thanks to the support and framework of UofM Worldwide, I had the ability to finish strong, even making the Dean’s Checklist. I’m taking 4 courses while offering on active service, and I’m pleased to say I’ll be finishing in May.
Having the ability to serve my nation, sustain my family members, and earn my degree implies the globe to me. I feel prepared to tackle whatever follows.
